South High School's Cheerleading Program

The primary function of the South High cheerleading program is to support interschool athletics and to uphold, reflect and project the goals of the school community. The cheerleading program encourages and promotes sportsmanship and ethical conduct consistent with the education mission and goals of the school. The cheerleaders support all of the different sports teams. They attend a four day cheerleading camp at a college institution. The cheerleaders perform dance routines at pep rallies and half-time performances of various basketball games and at the Homecoming football game.
